Walkthrough & Notes

There are four tables of food, labeled A, B, C, and D. Food from each table gives you an effect that lasts for 30 seconds to prevent you from eating at that table again, so you have to rotate between them. Certain foods make you drunk or walk slowly, and the time to consume them also varies. Debuffs range in duration from 5 seconds to 30 seconds. Drinks generally take less time to consume but the drunkenness effects can be worse than the 'too full' effects from foods. Example: Water takes the least time to consume but slows you down more than any other item. The townsfolk are competing with you for the same food items, so food may disappear if you don't click on it before one of them starts to eat it. Also, if you are eating a food that takes a long time to eat, there's a chance that one of them will eat it faster and it will disappear before you've eaten it completely.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'The people of Wildermore have much to be thankful for, <name>, despite the destruction wrought by the giant Núrzum. The folk of Scylfig celebrate by holding a small festival outside their town. 'You should go there at once and join the festivities. I hear that they are holding an eating contest outside the gates of their city. The survivors are few, but their hearts are emboldened! 'A friend of mine, Wulfherr, is overseeing the festivities. He will be able to provide you with everything you need. Let me know when you are ready to go to Scylfig, and I will arrange your travel.' Background The people of Scylfig celebrate the end of the giant Núrzum. Objective 1 Talk to Gyric to travel to Scylfig in the Writhendowns and speak with Wulfherr Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Gyric is waiting for your decision in Forlaw. You should speak with Gyric when you are ready to travel to Scylfig in the Writhendowns and talk to Wulfherr to join the festivities. Gyric: 'You should speak with Wulfherr when you arrive in Scylfig.' Objective 2 Wulfherr: '<name> from far away lands! We are pleased that you can join us in our celebration! 'Here you will find a sport that any and all may participate in, regardless of age! While we are few, we have prepared a marvelous eating contest. The point is simply to consume as much food as you are able in the time allotted. 'Be careful, though...some foods may slow you down! We shall begin soon. Speak to the Event Coordinator when you are ready to begin.' Talk to Event Coordinator Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. The Event Coordinator is standing next to Wulfherr. You should speak with the Event Coordinator when you are ready to begin. Objective 3 Event Coordinator: 'Are you ready to begin? Good! 'There are four tables...you may eat or drink from any of them. You are in competition with these good folk, so be as quick as you can!' Consume food or drink (0/10) 5m 00s Do not allow time to expire Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Tables with food may be found outside the gates of Scylfig. Eat as much food as possible before time runs out. Objective 4 Talk to Wulfherr or Gyric Completing Wildermore's Recovery will cancel this quest. Speak with Wulfherr or Gyric. Wulfherr/Gyric: 'You must have come hungry! A voracious eater and our victor!'
